School Safety & Preparedness
Building safer schools through practical leadership and preparation.
Effective school safety requires more than a document or a security upgrade. It requires planning, training, trusted partnerships, clear communication and people who understand how to act when it matters.
A comprehensive approach
School safety is about people, preparedness and practical solutions.
Charter Point Associates helps schools and educational organizations strengthen their emergency planning, staff readiness, public-safety coordination and ability to respond to difficult situations with confidence.

Leadership in action
A proven voice in New Hampshire school safety.

His experience includes leadership of the Governor’s 2018 School Safety Preparedness Task Force and work to translate statewide priorities into practical resources, planning and preparedness support for schools.

From policy to practice
School safety requires a comprehensive approach.
It is not only about facilities.
Thoughtful facility improvements can be important, but they are only one part of the work. Effective school safety also considers student support, leadership, policies, training, emergency planning, communications and the ability to recover after an incident.
It must be sustained.
Plans need annual review. Staff need training. Partnerships need attention. Exercises need to lead to improvements. The goal is not compliance alone; it is a school community that is ready to act together when it matters.
